THE WONDERFUL
WIZARD OF OZ
Be swept away by a tornado to the magical land of Oz and embark on a perilous quest with Dorothy and the unlikely friends she finds along the way. Witches, wizards, and winged monkeys await the lost but determined young girl as she steps into her silver shoes and journeys along the road of yellow bricks to find her way back home to Kansas.
MinaLima’s reimagination of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz is heavily influenced by the author’s colourful descriptions. From a grey and washed out Kansas, through to a bright blue Land of the Munchkins punctuated with a sunshine yellow brick road and red poppies and eventually reaching the green Emerald City, these lands have been illustrated using an abundance of hues and shades.
With nine interactive elements, readers can open the Wizard-in-Chief's map of Oz, lose themselves in the field of scarlet poppies, and even take an emerald-green look at the world with removable Emerald City glasses.
