Madame de Villeneuve’s classic fairy tale is reimagined for a modern audience in our deluxe edition featuring full-colour illustrations and nine interactive elements. Inspired by Jean Cocteau’s classic black and white film 'Le Belle et La Bête', we filled the pages with bold and cinematic illustrations, using exaggerated proportions throughout to capture the Beast's looming presence. First published in 1740, the decadence of 18th-century fashion is captured in our intricately drawn costumes and Baroque-inspired frames—all adorned with gold coloured ink.
